Workshop Overview
This introductory workshops introduces you to the fundamentals of sewing. It is designed to get you comfortable behind the machine and confident to begin your projects. You will:
- Learn key garment construction terminology
- Get to know your sewing machine and learn how to thread it properly.
- Explore basic seam types and when to use them.
- Put your new skills to work with a fun, hands-on take-home project
What’s Included:
- All basic materials (paper, rulers, pencils provided).
- Project materials.
- Take-home handouts and templates.
Preferable for you to bring:
- A pair of scissors.
- Sewing machine.
(We can accomodate you if you do not have these materials)
