About this Event
Dr. Recep Erol will present "Getting Started with AHPCC", a hand-on workshops for new Arkansas High Perfomance Computing Center users.
The workshop is designed to cover these essential topics:
Friday, February 13, 11:00am-5:00pm:
Demystifying High-Performance Computing: Understanding key concepts and practical use cases.
Linux 101: How to create and manage your own project in a Linux environment.
Introduction to SLURM: Understanding HPC system and resource management.
Submitting Jobs with SLURM: How to submit your first jobs to the HPC system using SLURM.
Prerequisites:
- Bring your own laptop. If you don't have one, you can rent one from the library.
- Ensure your laptop can connect to Internet.
- Must have an AHPCC account and can access the portal at https://hpc-portal2.hpc.uark.edu.
