About this Event
Getting Started in QuickBooks Online
A beginner workshop for small business owners
If you've ever opened QuickBooks and immediately closed it — this session is for you.
In 90 minutes you'll go from confused to confident. We'll work through the software together using Craig's Landscaping, a free demo company built right into QBO, so there's nothing to set up and no risk to your real data.
What we cover:
- The QBO dashboard — what you're actually looking at when you log in
- Chart of Accounts — the backbone of your bookkeeping and why it matters
- Customers & Vendors — who owes you money and who you owe
- The bank feed — what it is and how it connects to your books
- Entering transactions — creating an invoice and recording an expense
- Reading your reports — Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet basics
What you leave with:
A printed workbook covering everything from the session, key terms, the five account types, and practice exercises you can try on your own in Craig's demo after class.
