About this Event
Annette qualified as a counsellor in 2007 and built up a successful private practice from 2017 after working full time as a counsellor in a Secondary School for 10 years and is now Director of Meridian Therapeutic Services CIC. Sam is a qualified Accountant and works with larger organisations as well as sole traders and Community Interest Companies. The content of this 2 hours training is:
- Things to consider to get started
- Marketing yourself through counselling directories and / or your own website
- How much should I charge?
- Assessment of potential clients
- Work / life balance
- Avoiding burnout
- Keeping financial records
- Allowable expenses
- Filing tax returns
Ticket's are donation based and we recommend a minimum of £20.
