GETAWAY is a party that is comprised of music for the soul and dance floor that happens every other month in Toronto. Everything from soul, funk, disco, jazz, broken beats, house, high life, future beats, and more.
Featuring resident DJs are Toronto local legend:
Jason Palma, and Toronto's Street Dance Plug: Iced Misto. Their curated tunes combined brings the dancefloor full of moving, smiling people.

Rita Spirit is a Ukrainian-born, Canada-based DJ with over a decade of experience rocking crowds across festivals and venues in North America, Europe, and Asia. Rooted in funk, hip-hop, and house, she blends technical skill with cultural depth and a community-first approach. She has spun battles and parties at major events such as Summer Dance Forever (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Massive Monkeys Final Day (Seattle, USA), Malmö Dance Week (Malmö, Sweden), Red Bull Dance Your Style National Finals (Vancouver, Canada), VSDF (Vancouver, Canada), CHHSDF (Calgary, Canada), and JOAT (Montreal, Canada), to name a few. As a DJ who has lived and DJed all over the world, she creates diverse and intentional sets that take you on a journey through flow and sound.
