Candidates from across the political spectrum are being invited to participate. Get Up & VOTE! is not a debate, political rally, endorsement, or campaign event. Candidates who attend will have an informal opportunity to meet residents, answer questions, and introduce themselves to voters.
We’ll also take a look at the history behind the right to vote and recognize the generations of Americans who worked to expand access to the ballot.
Our goal is simple: make civic engagement accessible, informative, welcoming, and exciting.
Bring a friend, family member, neighbor, coworker, or young person who is getting ready to vote for the first time. No matter your political affiliation or level of voting experience, everyone is welcome.
