About this Event

If you’ve ever sat through a PowerPoint presentation you’ll have thought ‘get to the point!’

At this event, that thought won’t enter your head. On the night we’ll have up to 12 people talking about digital tech, culture, marketing and business. The catch is they only have 5 minutes to “get to the point!”

Each speaker only has 20 slides, which change automatically every 15 seconds, so there’s no room for waffle, when 5 mins is up, it’s up. There’s no Q&A either so your speakers need to be pin sharp.

Supporting Simon on the Streets

All the ticket costs, less Eventbrite costs and VAT, will go to Simon on the Streets a charity that supports the homeless of West Yorkshire.

What happens at Get to the Point?

We ran our first Get to the Point event in September 2022 as part of Leeds Digital Festival. On that night we had 8 speakers, and 2 random slide challengers, who spoke on a wide range of subjects, we've no idea what we'll get this time! The only way to find out it to come along.
