Get Outta Your Booth is a conference for new and experienced Voice Actors alike!
To our surprise, there are no larger scale VO conferences in the Greater Philadelphia area and we realized this provided us with a great opportunity. We could make something new and unique and at the same time do it with the pure intention of providing a safe and fun place to network, socialize, and learn!
GOYB runs on 2 foundational principles - Fostering the Community and Making that Community Accessible. We have purposefully made this event as low a cost as possible while providing the most value we can for each attendee. GOYB is looking to bring in new talent from the surrounding area to learn and to meet other voice actors. Additionally, we would like to give experienced folks an excuse to come out and meet their friends, enjoy their time in a stress free environment, and offer the ability to give back or take in as much as they (you!) would like!
Our Schedule includes the following -
Panels/Speakers and Social Mixers on Friday & Saturday Nights - Join us on Friday and Satuday to see current voice actors and casting directors discussing the industry. Later on, party with your friends, or make some new ones! This event will include snacks, beverages, games, Karaoke and fun! The Social Mixers will be 21+
Full lineup of Speakers and Panels - We have speakers and panels to discuss all manner of voice acting related topics - from studios to marketing to performance!

Free GOYB T-Shirt Included with your Ticket! - Make sure to hit up the add-ons section and pick your size so we have your T-Shirt ready for you! Last year's shirts were a huge hit!

Free Bowling, Shuffleboard, Pool, and more - Yes, I did say that. Free Bowling. We have a 6 lane bowling alley and it will be available for use by all guests, all day, each day! Not interested in the current topic? Check out the lanes or the other games we have available!

Incredible Prizes! - GOYB is committed to making the most out of our time with you by giving away great prizes including equipment, coaching sessions, and more! This year will have even more than last year, so you don't want to miss out! Make sure to stick around on Sunday for our prize giveaway!
Additionally, Mike will be hand crafting a limited quantity of Sound Absorption Panels that guests can take home on a first come, first served basis. These panels will be 3x3 or 4x2, so make sure you have a way to transport it if you would like one!

Coffee, Tea, Snacks, Lunch, and Dinner included - Our first year showed us that while we had plenty of snacks, some folks still needed a bit more - so we are providing! Dinner on Friday and Saturday evening is now included with your ticket purchase! Additionally, aside from the coffee, tea, and other snacks, we will be providing some more hearty breakfast options as well!

A full and detailed schedule will be available closer to the event but we have already put out many of the names of our speakers on social media!
GOYB is being hosted at the National Sokols Lodge #93 Hall because it offers a large meeting hall to have lectures, 2 bars for libations, 6 bowling lanes, billiards, and also allows for a quick trip to anywhere in the Lehigh Valley.
The National Sokols is a national, non-profit, fraternal organization originally stemming from Czechlslovakia. Their mission was to promote sound mind and body throough calesthenics and gymnastics. The current lodge is a social club and competetively licensed bowling center. We accept all potential members and our current mission is to provide a safe, accessible, and friendly place for the community while giving back where we can!
