Get Outdoors and Get Together Events are inclusive, accessible, family-friendly events open to everyone happening at 22 locations all across the state on the same day, Saturday, June 8th. The events are all sponsored by New York State Parks, NYS DEC, OPWDD and NYS Veterans.
The event at Darien Lakes State Park will run from 10 AM until 2 PM. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch. At Darien Lakes State Park, there will be arts and crafts, fishing, kayaks, yard games (corn hole, bocce ball), musical instruments, a mountain bike demonstration and more.
