Have you #gottogetout and explore Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland?
Thanks to Auckland Transport, Got To Get Out is hosting a series of free outdoor events to encourage our community to try walking & cycling for getting to work / school / leisure.
We’re also profiling new cycleways and commuter routes, and showcasing public transport options like bus and trains as a great way to get to your adventures.
About your free guided activity:
For this free walk, we are starting at Te Komititanga (outside Britomart station). From here we will catch the Hobsonville Ferry, then begin the Didsbury Art Trail.
Your ferry is FREE for those who get a ticket.
We will take the 955am ferry from Auckland city (meet 9am) and return 235pm OR earlier if we are ‘done’ and ready to roll after some food!
*Note - you may meet us Hobsonville ferry if you live close to there, and prefer not to come into town to get the ferry. This is a different ticket option when you book*
Experience larger-than-life public artworks from some of New Zealand’s top artists on the Didsbury Art Trail. This approximately 5km walk winds its way along picturesque coastline and through parks and beautiful streetscapes, taking in unique heritage sites and urban design features along the way
