Join us for an engaging learning experience on how to gather and secure your financial bag! This is a family-friendly event.
About this Event

Get Her to the Bag Academy in partnership with the Congress Heights Arts & Culture Center presents a free financial literacy half-day community workshop. During this workshop, youth participants engage in interactive activities that focus on planning for your bag, investing your bag, and understanding credit and debt, while older participants engage in dialogue about how to manage their paycheck, emerging career fields, and saving for the future.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

This program is funded by the Progressive Life Center FY23 Building Blocks DC Winter Mini-Grants, in coordination with the Office of Gun Violence Prevention (OGVP) and the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS).
