GET GREEN FEST March 14th, 2026 is Fort Wayne's only family-friendly St. Patrick's festival. The event is hosted by the Ft. Wayne Professional Firefighters.Location: Downtown Fort Wayne: 900 W Main St.
5-KILT RUN WALK: The Get Green Fest 5-Kilt Run/Walk is Ft. Wayne's first organized run/walk of the year. START/FINISH located at 900 West Main. Race starts at 9:30am
RIVER GREENING: Mimicking the famous Chicago River Greening, Ft. Wayne Firefighters turn the St. Mary's River green using eco-friendly vegetable dye. River greening starts at 11:00am at the Main Street (Carole Lombard Memorial) Bridge.
GOLD COIN DROP: What's at the end of a FWFD ladder truck? Our very own Leprechaun dropping gold coins for the children to collect. Drop begins at 12:00pm.
LUCKY CHARMS EATING CONTEST: Age-divisioned matches enable both young and old to gobble up Lucky Charms for bragging rights and a trophy. Event starts at 1:00pm.
HEATED EVENT TENT: Rock the day away while you enjoy delicious food, drinks, kid activities, and fun with friends. Festivities begin at 8:30am and continue until 6:00pm. Music by DJ Jason Spuller from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Get Green Fest 2026 is held in downtown Fort Wayne (900 W Main St) and hosted by the Ft. Wayne Professional Firefighters, Hoosier Lottery, and Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union.

DJ, Food, and fun all day from 8:30am-8pm.
Festivities include Local Food Trucks, 5-Kilt Run through downtown Fort Wayne, Lucky Charms Eating Contest, River Greening, Gold Coin Drop, and many more family-friendly events.
Proceeds have benefited local charities such as the Fort Wayne Boys & Girls Club, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Cancer Services, Shepard's House, Child Burn Survivors, Local Families in Need, Hoosier Burn Camp, Muscular Dystrophy Associaton, ETC.
