Get Caught Up in the Groove: Oak Park Arms Hosts "The Caught Off Guards" July 17

The Oak Park Arms Senior Living invites the public to the next performance in its popular Free Summer Outdoor Concert Series from 5 – 7 p.m. on Friday, July 17. Neighborhood families, seniors, and music enthusiasts are invited to gather at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park, for an evening of live entertainment featuring the sounds of The Caught Off Guards.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, enjoy the open-air venue, and share in the community spirit.
“We had an incredible turnout to kick off our summer, and we can't wait to welcome our neighbors back to the Arms for this spectacular July performance,” said Renee Steingard, director of leasing and resident engagement at the Oak Park Arms. “The energy and community connection at these events are truly special. While we are looking forward to a beautiful night under the summer sky, our historic ballroom stands ready as a backup location so the music, dancing, and fun can continue regardless of the weather.”
Members of the Caught Off Guards first met at an open-mic event at the NAMI drop-in center in Oak Park. Each musician has a love of Funk, R&B, Soul, Blues, and Jazz. They began as a backing band or live karaoke band for other performers, and in the process of mutual support, the Caught Off Guards emerged as a main act for community events.
