Get arty in this illustration workshop with archaeologist Bronagh Murray (HERoNI) on Saturday 13th June.
Learn about the history of archaeological illustrations, get up close with artefacts and discover the tools used by archaeologists to create artefact illustrations.
In this workshop, you'll be focusing on two horns which would have been used as musical instruments, and are both on display at Ulster Museum. The horns were found in a bog at Drumabest, Co. Antrim and date to around 1100-700 BBC.
Create an illustration of the Drumbest Horns using a template and put your newly learned techniques to the test! Please note, this is a free workshop but booking is essential.
This event is a part of European Archaeology Days (EAD)
