Get Acquainted with Peoria Players Theatre on Sunday, July 21! Join us for our annual event which introduces the public to the upcoming season, both on the stage and behind the scenes. Meet our directors, catch a sneak preview of the shows, find out more about auditions and how you can help backstage, and sign up for your chance to win some terrific door prizes. Head over to the theatre on July 21; the front doors will open at 1:30 pm, and the program begins at 2:00, with a meet-and-greet reception to follow. Admission is free. MEAN GIRLS, HIGH SCHOOL VERSION (Summer Youth Theatre)
Directed by David Snook and Celeste Matheson
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. Soon, this naïve newbie falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Adapted from Tina Fey's hit 2004 film, Mean Girls was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards. This queen-bee took Broadway by storm and has joined the musical in-crowd.

MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS
