Let Dr Charlie In teach you how to cut 11 months of fundraising prep to 11 days to raise funds & prevent massive dilution of the business.
About this Event

According to the EY Global IPO Report of 28 Sep 2022, US$146 billion were raised YTD compared to $342 billion in 2021 in global IPOs. In the USA, only $7.5 billion were raised through IPO by September 2022. By contrast, online crowdfunding was a staggering $17 billion and $11 billion in Asia. The prep time taken for an IPO is about 11 months while a crowdfunding campaign can be up and running in 11 days. There are 6.5 million crowdfunding offers online worldwide and this trend will triple by 2025. 65% of Americans are aware of and game for crowdfunding. In the US, there are new regulations to allow companies to raise up to US$75 million, online, without an IPO or a full prospectus. This changes the fundraising landscape resulting in the world’s biggest bank, JPMorgan, to set up Capital Connect to serve this new arena.

Amidst these disruptive changes in the capital and debt market, especially in the US, Asian firms must learn to ride on this crest of wave to get in the money to grow and expand. Firms need not suffer the agony and risks involved in traditional IPO or even Series funding by venture capital and private equity players. Investors, anyone above 18 years olds in the US, can now subscribe for a firm’s shares or debts at $2500 a pop online via apps provided by the private equity platforms.

There are new rules in this new game and Asian fast-growing firms must learn fast to secure funding for their acorns to become unicorns. The early bird catches the worth.

In this seminar, the panel will share with you these learning points:
