According to the EY Global IPO Report of 28 Sep 2022, US$146 billion were raised YTD compared to $342 billion in 2021 in global IPOs. Amidst these disruptive changes in the capital and debt market, especially in the US, Asian firms must learn to ride on this crest of wave to get in the money to grow and expand. Firms need not suffer the agony and risks involved in traditional IPO or even Series funding by venture capital and private equity players. Investors, anyone above 18 years olds in the US, can now subscribe for a firm’s shares or debts at $2500 a pop online via apps provided by the private equity platforms.
