GESTERN MITTE MORGEN – YESTERDAY MITTE TOMORROW by filmmaker Peter Zach is a portait of the post-1989 alternative culture scenes coming out of the temporary autonomous zone that was Berlin's central district of Mitte.
The documentary celebrates the alternative culture of Berlin's district of Mitte, a snapshot before some artists went on to broader success, while others continued to pursue their aesthetic project regardless of overground crossover.
