The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is one of Columbia’s most iconic annual events—an elegant, open-air supper for 1,200 guests set atop the historic Gervais Street Bridge, overlooking the beautiful Congaree River.Since 2015, this Sunday evening celebration has brought together community, culture, and cuisine, featuring local chefs, live music, artists, and a breathtaking view. More than just a dinner, the event raises vital funds for nonprofits focused on river preservation, beautification, and recreation.
