The German Expressionism talk and slideshow is from 2pm to 4pm at Condell Studio - Springfield Art Association., Sunday, April 28th. German expressionism was an early twentieth century German art movement that emphasized the artist's inner feelings or ideas over replicating reality, and was characterized by simplified shapes, bright colors and gestural marks or brushstrokes, when it started in 1905.
