Hello Everyone,
After the great success of last year’s event, the German Charity Christmas Market of the German Consulate General Kolkata will take place again soon!
Experience our solemnity with typical German elements like traditional mulled wine, pretzel or sausages. You will have the chance to listen to a mixture of live Christmas music and Bengali music. We promise you that like every year, it would be enjoyable and a meaningful event.

Venue: Garden of the German Consulate General Kolkata
Address: 1 Hastings Road in Alipore (near Judges Court Road)
Time: 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Parking: tbc (like previous years Consulate General will try to arrange external parking space)

This year, we are raising the quality and overall experience of the market by introducing a few changes to the format, including a reduced number of vendor tables. This change allows us to curate a more selective range of high-quality, unique products, creating a more focused and enjoyable shopping experience for our visitors
As the space will be limited, to secure your spot please apply as soon as possible in the following format along with some pictures of the items that you wish to display and sell in the Christmas market.
This Charity Market is exclusively for the NGOs, and the focus is on the organizations that are directly supporting charitable causes. The only exception to this rule may be for the women-led small businesses as to be decided by the German Consulate General.

We encourage you all to bring new and Christmas-themed items that customers will be excited to purchase, such as handmade decorations, seasonal gifts, festive treats, or charity-branded merchandise. Items that resonate with the holiday spirit and are good as presents, tend to sell very well in this market. Needless to say, in addition to raising funds for your organization, this event provides an excellent opportunity to promote awareness of your cause and engage with the local community in a festive setting.

We would request your patience in getting a reply/confirmation/status update since we are a small team with limited capacity.
Decision of selecting organizations to participate in the German Charity Christmas Market on 14.12.2024 is solely at the discretion of the German Consulate General Kolkata.
