German American Weekend at Christmas Village in Baltimore

When? December 7 and December 8 2024

This weekend you can experience German culture and traditions by watching the Schuhplattler Dancers of "S.u.G.T.V. Washingtonia" and the Hungarian American folk dancers “Tisza Ensemble”. They will perform on Saturday December 7 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. 

Sunday is fun day! On Sunday December 8 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm the German American Weekend will offer a German Game contest which includes popular Oktoberfest-style competitions such as Bierstein lifting ('Bierkrugstemmen') a Bratwurst Eating Contest and Brezelschnappen. Moreover there will be plenty of authentic German and European delicacies available for visitors to enjoy.
