GERI X — "15 Years of Questionable Decisions"
with Charles Walston
Saturday, September 5, 2026 · The Nest at Saint Pete Brewing
Doors 7:00 PM · 21+
$15 advance (+$1 service fee) · $20 cash at the door

Geri X has been one of St. Petersburg's most distinctive voices for the better part of two decades. Born in Pleven, Bulgaria and based in St. Pete since 2000, she writes in a register that resists easy classification — psych blues one minute, stripped-bare folk the next, always unmistakably hers. In her own words: "a composer, a musician and a singer hard to put a label on." Her catalog runs from Whiskey and Cigarettes and Work Is The Wolf through White Light and The Lost Sessions, and she's a repeat Creative Loafing "Best of the Bay" singer-songwriter pick. This show is a celebration of the 15 years she has been with her current drummer, Charlie (not the Charles that's opening).
Opening the night is Charles Walston, a songwriter with a long road behind him. He fronted the Atlanta alt-country outfit The Vidalias, whose 1995 debut Melodyland remains a touchstone of that scene, spent years in Washington, D.C., and now calls St. Pete home. His 2023 solo record Before I Call it a Day is Americana with real mileage on it.
Doors at 7:00 PM. 21 and up.
