London based Afro-Cuban-Soul-Surf-Calypsoists, Georgie Hume & The Pity Party are a trio led by guitarist George Hume, who’s instrumental sound incorporates a blend of early 60's Jamaican jazz, Cuban inspired rhythms alongside a dose of Bakersfield country twang, creating a sound thats been described as 'Tropical Jazz’.
The band make their long anticipated Norwich debut at The Holloway in support of their brand new single "Parquet Parakeet".
Their debut EP was released in 2024 receiving early support from Jazz FM and Soho Radio. This year saw the trio invited to play Red Rooster and Ealing Jazz Festival, with their debut album set for release in October.
