A weekend of rich harmonies and connection.
This workshop is an invitation to immerse yourself in the traditional polyphonic songs of Georgia while exploring how singing feels in the body.
Together we will learn folk, sacred and table songs by ear, supported with context about their history and meaning.
Holly will guide you through vocal and embodiment practices to help you find your own “Georgian sound” and to experience the deep resonance that comes from singing with others.
The weekend includes workshops, shared meals and time to connect as a group.
👉 Book your spot here: https://www.tickettailor.com/checkout/view-event/id/6360505/chk/a03f/?modal_widget=true&widget=true
No need to read music or sing solo, but some experience of group singing will help.
All adults are welcome, and practices can be adapted for those with physical impairments.
Schedule:
Friday: arrivals, dinner and evening singing
Saturday: morning and afternoon workshops with breaks for meals
Sunday: final workshop, lunch, closing session and departures
✨ Come and discover the joy of Georgian polyphony, where many voices weave into one.

About the Leader
Holly Taylor-Zuntz is a voice leader, song collector and multi-disciplinary artist based in Oxford. She has spent many years living in Georgia, learning songs directly from tradition bearers. In 2022 she completed her training as a Natural Voice Leader with Frankie Armstrong.
For several years Holly led Kalta Choir, a women’s Georgian choir in Oxford. In 2025 she began Perebi Choir, a mixed-voice group that welcomes singers of all genders. She also musically directs Tsiali, Bristol's Georgian choir. Alongside her choirs, she leads workshops and community singing events around the UK and Europe.
She is the co-founder of Voices of the Ancestors, a podcast and theatre project that shares Georgian polyphonic songs and the stories of the women who keep them alive.

The Setting
Ripon College, Cuddesdon is a peaceful retreat centre surrounded by rolling hills, fields and trees.
Our practice space is glass fronted and looks out onto a timeless landscape, reminding us to connect with the earth through our songs.
"Not just a building but a work of art which touches the spirit"
As a bonus, we will be granted access to the award winning Edward King chapel. Its use of light, space, glass, wood and stone is a stunning architectural feat, and the resonance is very special. Singing in here is an unforgettable experience!
