This year marks the 100th anniversary of These Old Shades - possibly Georgette Heyer's most famous romance. To celebrate, come join us for a night of trivia, music, dancing, and food - all Regency and Georgette Heyer themed.Prizes will be awarded for Best decorated table, Best Costumes, and of course overall winner for the trivia. A light supper and various drinks will be provided as part of your ticket - think negus, lemonade, orgeat, and ratafia - maybe some lobster patties and ices - but you are welcome to bring additional food and drink. You can also purchase some additional comestibles directly at the event - details to come soon.
Form a team of 8 and purchase a whole table or buy individually and we can place you with similarly minded people if you like (although aren't we all similarly minded in our love of Heyer?). Come dressed to the nines with prizes for best Regency/Georgian costumes, or just come as you are - fabulous! The only thing we consider de rigueur is to bring your broad general knowledge of Georgette Heyer's Georgian and Regency romances!
Doors open at 6 for Trivia kick off at 7 so you have time to decorate your table if you wish.
Tickets are $60 per person (+booking fee) or buy an entire table of 8 for $420
