Georgetown Law Barristers' Ball 2026: Cherry Blossom Ball

The event of the year is here! Georgetown Law’s Student Bar Association proudly presents Barristers' Ball 2026: Cherry Blossom Ball, hosted at The Anthem.

Inspired by one of Washington, DC’s most iconic spring traditions, this year’s Barristers' Ball invites you to step into a night in bloom — where timeless elegance and celebration come together for the largest SBA event of the year. Join classmates and friends for an unforgettable evening of dancing, music, and springtime glamour at DC’s premier concert venue.

Date: Saturday March 21, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Location: The Anthem, 901 Wharf St SW, Washington, DC 20024
Attire: Black-tie optional
What to expect: Two (2) complimentary drink tickets (beer, wine, hard seltzer, soft drinks), a cash bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, dessert, great music, and a night of dancing and celebration. Liquor will not be sold at the event.

Early Bird Tickets, Pre-sale admission (Jan 23 – Feb 6): $90 + Eventbrite processing fee
Regular admission (Feb 7 – Mar 6): $100 + Eventbrite processing fee

Only Georgetown Law students are permitted to purchase tickets. Students may purchase a maximum of two (2) tickets total: one for themselves and one for a guest. All tickets must be purchased using a Georgetown email address.

Any non-students who purchase a ticket will forfeit their ticket and payment to the Student Bar Association.

Any student who purchases more than two (2) tickets will forfeit all tickets and payment to the Student Bar Association.

Tickets are non-refundable, but transferable. Students may resell tickets, but may not charge more than the original purchase price (including any service fees). SBA reserves the right to revoke tickets if this policy is violated.

All guests must be 21+, and valid government-issued ID will be checked at the door.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM and close promptly at 8:00 PM. Attendees who are not in line by 8:00 PM will be denied entry unless prior arrangements with OSL are made by contacting [email protected].

Each attendee will receive two (2) drink tickets at the door. Additional drinks (beer, wine, hard seltzer, soft drinks) will be available for purchase at the cash bar (credit card accepted). Hors d’oeuvres stations and desserts will be available throughout the evening.

SBA has worked hard to make this event a memorable and safe experience for all attendees. Any individual who appears visibly intoxicated or engages in harassing, violent, or otherwise inappropriate behavior may be denied entry or removed from the event, and their ticket may be revoked.

We understand that this event represents a significant expense. SBA has worked diligently to keep ticket prices as low as possible while meeting the high costs associated with hosting a large-scale formal at this venue. The ticket price reflects the lowest feasible cost to deliver a high-quality event worthy of Georgetown Law’s signature formal. We cannot wait to celebrate with you at Barristers' Ball 2026!
