Do you have what it takes to be a GEORDIEMAN?The Inaugural GEORDIEMAN 2022 was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! The full and 70.3 distance Triathlon Endurance Event took place at the most perfect venue in the whole of the North- East. Swimming in the Ladyburn Lake, cycling up and down the fabulous and mainly flat Northumberland Coast and finishing with a flat run around the delightful Druridge Bay Country Park on paths, tarmac and trails. Competitors loved the venue and course, amazed at some of the scenery along the fantastic Northumberland Coast.
We invite you to return in 2023 or why not give it a go for the first time?
Full distance event - 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle, marathon run
1/2 distance (70.3) event - 1.2 mile swim, 56 miles cycle, ½ marathon run
AQUABIKE - 1.2 mile swim & 56 mile Cycle.
All founder members have a “price for life” as well as guaranteed entry each year and you should have a code for that.
Both events can also be done in a relay of 2 or 3 with friends or family.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male & Female as well as category winners prizes.
There will also be special prizes for the first GEORDIELASS and GEORDIELAD which will be for anyone living in the North-East of England at the time of the Event.
All competitors will get a FANTASTIC Medal, an EVENT TOP, unlimited drinks and snacks during the event & CATERED HOT FOOD after the event in the event village. There will also be free photography at the event & live timing.
