Geologist's Walk Around Redwood Heights/Leona Heights

Limited to 40 people. This vigorous walk will visit the rocks and landscape around Lincoln Square, Horseshoe Canyon, the upper reaches of Lion Creek, a former mine, an abandoned quarry, an active fault trace, good views and some charming neighborhoods in their Halloween best. Stairs, steps and some dirt roads.

Park on the street near the meeting place, or come via the 54 bus line (eastbound; arrives ~1:45 pm).
