On October (Friday 11th), we have the first appearance of GEOFF LAKEMAN with ROB MURCH.
We previously had the wonderful Geoff at our club several years ago but the addition of Rob Murch adds a unique and interesting dynamic.
In recent years, Geoff has become quite a well-known performer on the folk scene. As well as being known for fathering three very successful folk performers in Seth, Sean & Sam, Geoff has made a name for himself as being a very talented musician and entertainer in his own right.
Rob is known as a brilliant fingerstyle banjo player, who is perhaps also known as a member of the successful Dartmoor Pixie Band.
The combination of Geoff’s Duet Concertina and voice and Rob’s Banjo,, along with a varied (and sometimes surprising) mix of material from trad folk and Americans, to jazz, music hall and popular song, this duo is sure to provide a very entertaining evening.
We accept bank transfers for concert nights.
Please note that our venue is currently careless, so please bring plenty of cash with you.
