Geoff Clapp is a drummer whose feel and style are only matched by his kind and generous spirit. He plays what he describes as a mix of the "heady New York and soulful New Orleans" drum styles.

Over his 37 year career, Geoff has toured, recorded and performed with some of today’s modern music giants: Delfeayo Marsalis and The Uptown Jazz Orchestra, Jason Marsalis Vibes Quartet, Peter Martin Trio, Reuben Rogers, Nick Payton, Khari Allen Lee, Charlie Hunter, Christian McBride with Melissa Walker, Rale Micic, Wessell "Warm Daddy" Anderson, Dianne Reeves, The NOLA PLAYERS, Benny Green Trio, John Cowherd, Terence Blanchard, Donald Harrison, Eric Reed, Peter Bernstein, Ted Ludwig, Michael Pellera Trio, Ron Blake, Frank Wess, J@LC with Wynton Marsalis, Geoff Clapp Trio, Oscar Perez, Jeremy Davenport, Duane Eubanks, Dr. Brad Lieli, Soul Rebels Brass Band, Jamil Shariff, The Sam Fribush Organ Trio, Aaron Goldberg, LOUQUE, and Petr Cancura, James Tealy and Michael Kaeshammer as well as starring in several episodes of NCIS New Orleans as a performer and composer. He has been featuring on over 500 recordings. Currently, Mr Clapp’s album, REDEEMED, is now out, features Peter Martin, Reuben Rogers and Nick Payton.

Peter Martin

Peter Martin toured, recorded and played with Dianne Reeves and arranged her Grammy Award-winning soundtrack to the motion picture Good Night, and Good Luck, also appearing in the film. In September 2008 he was appointed lecturer in jazz studies at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. He has also been on the music faculty at Tulane University, the University of New Orleansand New Orleans Center for Creative Arts.

Martin has been a member of Chris Botti's touring band and in 2009 toured extensively with Christian McBride. He has recorded with Victor Goines, Johnny Griffin, Wynton Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, Joshua Redman, Dianne Reeves and Rodney Whitaker. Other artists with whom he has performed include Terence Blanchard, Betty Carter, Roy Hargrove, Ellis Marsalis, Christian McBride, David Sanborn and Stanley Turrentine.

Martin has released two albums on the Max Jazz label, Something Unexpected (2001) and In The P.M. (2005). In 2009, Martin released his first solo CD, Set of Five on his own label, Peter Martin Music produced by Dan Martin. In October 2015, Martin released an album, What Lies Ahead, on Open Studio Records, featuring his trio of Reuben Rogers, bass and Gregory Hutchinson, drums and special guests Vocalists Erin Bode, and Brian Owens produced by Dan Martin. It was recorded in his home town of St. Louis.

In January 2011, Martin played at the White House as part of the State Dinner the President Obama held welcoming the president of China. In 2016, Martin won a Grammy Award for his performance in Steve Reich.

After launching an educational video podcast, 2-Minute Jazz, Martin launched a website, Open Studio, in 2011 that is a members-only jazz lesson site with video lessons and online master classes containing premium concepts and content. Students from over 100 countries have joined and are continuing to learn from Martin, Dianne Reeves, Christian McBride, Greg Hutchinson, Romero Lubambo and other artists.

Brook Sutton

As a bassist in Music City USA, your job can demand many different styles and timbres. Brook Sutton has found his pocket as a live performer and session bassist for many of Nashville's finest on both upright and electric basses.

Brook maintains a steady tour schedule in addition to receiving weekly freelance calls for live and studio performance. He performs with international recording artist and powerhouse jazz vocalist, Jaimee Paul and is part of the power trio Medicine King alongside Dave Isaacs and Robert Crawford.

In addition to playing bass, Sutton also remains active in music education. With degrees in music production and a Masters in Music Education, Brook teaches recording classes and bass at area universities as well as Master Class engagements locally and nationally. Hailing from New Orleans, LA, Brook has worked a wide range of artists not only as a bassist but as a recording engineer. Sutton has worked with George Porter Jr., Henry Butler, Johnny Vidocovich, Josh Garrett, James Singleton, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, The Gypsy Hombres, Tom House, Michael Pallera, Joe Krown, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and many others.
