Geode, Fondant Cake Decorating Class

About this class:

In this class Steph Lawshe from Sweet Little Morsels, LLC will teach you how to cover a real cake with fondant and turn it into a beautiful geode cake. Steph will cover marbling fondant, cake carving, painting fondant using gold luster and adding touches of gold leaf to your cakes. She will also provide some tips, easy tricks and help you troubleshoot common issues that occur when covering your cake in fondant. This is a great class for beginners and bakers who still have trouble working with fondant and want to learn a new cake design.

Please note: This class will not include working with or making gumpaste flowers.

Steph Lawshe has always loved to bake, but her passion for cake decorating didn't start until she made a wedding cake for her sister 8 years ago. It was one of her most rewarding experiences and she hasn't stopped decorating since! She enjoys sharing her skills and passion for cake decorating and loves to inspire her students to achieve new levels of creativity and expertise!

All The Details:

• Age Level: 16+
• Skill Level: Beginner
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
• Class requires a minimum of 2 students and there is a maximum of 6 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 3 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
