GeoConference 2024

Where: Scottsdale Community College 9000 E Chaparral Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85256

Cost: Free** except for Eventbrite's required fees of about $3.02, which are nonrefundable. You must register and pay a $20 deposit, which covers the cost of breakfast and lunch. If you attend, your deposit (minus the $3.02 fee) will be refunded. If you do not attend, we will keep the deposit. Cancellations must be made by 9/13/2023 to have your deposit returned. Please know that once an order is placed, Eventbrite fees can not be refunded. Attendees must attend at least 3/4 of the day to receive their deposit back.

What can I expect from GeoConference?

We are so excited for our 31st GeoConference! Your day will include:

• Demonstrations of Elementary & Secondary level lessons that you can teach the next day.
• Showcasing about 19 new lessons that were developed over our summer institute!
• Hands-on Lessons that integrate geography with STEM, history, language arts, and more.
• Geography content lectures.
• Breakfast, Lunch, Door Prizes, and Free Materials
• 6.5 Professional Development Hours
• and a few surprises!
