Geocache Day

Geocaching is made for all ages and feels like a real-life treasure hunt! Come and explore the outdoors with us!

Bring your own GPS unit and cables, or your smartphone with the geocaching app loaded, and arrive ready for some fun. 

To save some time, be sure to go to http://www.geocaching.com and download the CREW Flint Pen Strand caches before you arrive .

Make sure to register everyone in your group, so we can be prepared for you! Bring your lunch for a picnic and visit with fellow geocachers afterwards.

This event is free, but donations to the CREW Trust are always appreciated!

Is there an age limit for the event?

This walk is for all ages.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not invited on this walk unless they are a service animal. 

What are the parking/facilities like at the trails?

Meet at the main parking lot of Flint Pen Strand. There is one portable restroom at the trailhead.

What are the trails like?

The trails are sandy and uneven in places. Expect seasonally wet and muddy places on the trails during the rainy season (July - December).

What should I wear/bring?

Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended. Bring your own GPS unit and cables, or your smartphone with the geocaching app loaded.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?

Yes. You may give your spot to someone else. Be sure to change the information on your registration page accessed through your confirmation email with Eventbrite.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you may update your registration information up to 24 hours before the event via Eventbrite.

Do I have to bring a printed ticket to the event?

No. Simply check in with the event volunteer sweep (leader's assistant) at the time of the event.

Can I cancel my ticket(s)?

You may cancel your ticket(s) up to 72 hours prior to the event on Eventbrite.

From Fort Myers: From I-75 S, take exit 116 and turn east on Bonita Beach Road. Travel approximately 3.8 miles and turn left onto Vincent Road. The trail head and main parking lot are on the left.

From Naples: From I-75 N, take exit 116 and turn east on Bonita Beach Road. Travel approximately 3.8 miles and turn left onto Vincent Road. The trail head and main parking lot are on the left.
