Gentry är en form av budget Standard som är lättillgängligt för alla och perfekt om man tycker om att konstant brewa nya lekar. Man bygger en lek med minst 60 kort och en sideboard med max 15 kort. Leken och sideboarden får tillsammans innehålla max 4 Rares/Mythic Rares som också måste vara unika, max 15 Uncommons och resterande kort måste då vara Commons.
Alla kort måste vara legala i formatet Standard, vilket för tillfället betyder att man kan spela med alla kort från "Wilds of Eldraine", "Lost Caverns of Ixalan", "Murders at Karlov Manor", "Outlaws of Thunder Junction", "Bloomburrow", "Duskmourn: House of Horror", "MtG: Foundations", "Aetherdrift" , "Tarkir: Dragonstorm", "Final Fantasy", "Edge of Eternities", "Marvel's Spiderman", "Avatar: The Last Airbender", "Lorwyn Eclipsed", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Secrets of Strixhaven" och "Marvel Super Heroes"(du kan följa vilka set som är legala att spela i följande länk: https://mtgazone.com/standard-rotation/).
