Gentlemen Hecklers: Plan 9 from Outer Space

Get ready for an out-of-this-world night of comedy, cult cinema, and glorious filmmaking! 👽🎬

Join The Gentlemen Hecklers at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre as they take on Ed Wood’s legendary sci-fi Plan 9 from Outer Space—widely regarded as one of the most entertaining movies ever made.

Starting at 7:30 PM, the Gentlemen Hecklers will provide their signature live commentary, jokes, riffs, and comedic chaos as the movie unfolds. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Plan 9, a lover of classic B-movies, or simply enjoy watching a movie made much more hilarious by a great comedy team, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.

Meet the Hecklers
Eric Fell

Eric Fell is a Vancouver writer, comedian, and actor with more than 20 years of professional experience. He has performed at countless comedy events, panel shows, festivals, and conventions, and has appeared as a movie expert on programs including CBC Radio’s On the Coast and BC Today.

Eric was a writer for Netflix’s Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return, including the fan-favorite episode “Cry Wilderness,” which Vox called “a perfect, rolling ball of comedic chaos.” He has been a writer, performer, and script editor for The Gentlemen Hecklers since September 2012.

Eric also produces and hosts The Critical Hit Show, a live RPG-inspired comedy that recently celebrated its 14th anniversary and was honored as a Special Presentation by Just for Laughs Vancouver in 2026.

His other credits include writing for CBC Radio’s Definitely Not the Opera, appearances on Psych and Alcatraz, and a recurring role as Thomas Warren on the horror podcast The Black Tapes.

Eric is very tall and probably not from space.

Gina Harms

Gina Harms is a Vancouver-based comedian and actor who has spent a decade performing on the comedy circuit. Described by Vancouver Magazine as “a staple of the Vancouver stand-up scene,” Gina has appeared at Just For Laughs Vancouver and Comedy Here Often?

She also performed her one-person show Crying In Public to sold-out audiences at the Vancouver Fringe Festival in 2023 and 2025. Gina is a writer and performer with The Gentlemen Hecklers, bringing her sharp comedic perspective to some of cinema’s best bad movies.

Patrick Maliha

Patrick Maliha is a professional comedian with more than 30 years of experience, having toured internationally and headlined comedy clubs, festivals, and events around the world.

Patrick was one of the writers for Netflix’s Mystery Science Theater 3000 and is the voice of Rich Overlord on Adult Swim Canada’s Psi-Cops. He has been voted Vancouver’s favorite stand-up comedian numerous times by The Georgia Straight, Vancouver Courier, and TV Week Magazine.

His television credits include comedy specials on CTV, The Comedy Network, and CBC.
