On Friday October 9th the band careen into Melbourne, bounce off Northcote Plaza, lose traction on High Street, over correct and drift sideways into Cactus Room. Pussy Horse and Techno666 sweep the debris into the beer garden on a tsunami of sleaze before Gentle Ben and His Shimmering Hands attempt to pay for damages the only way they know how- the worthless medium of song.
Saturday October 10th sees Gentle Ben and His Shimmering Hands fashion a raft from discarded vapes, don full-length wetsuits and paddle from the shores of the mighty Yarra to the sewers of St Kilda, emerging from the toilets of George’s Lane like a wet phoenix. Living legends Joel Silbersher and the Falling Gargoyles open the show before Shimmering Hands mop themselves off the floor with their own hair.
