Gentell Wound Certification Course

This course will provide nurses in long-term care the knowledge to properly recognize, asses, treat, and document wound care.
About this Event

Gentell University recognizes the need for knowledge related to wound assessment and care of wounds in the long-term care setting.

Please Note: Registration is from 8:30 am PST - 9:00 am PST. The course does not start until 9:00 am

Course Objectives:

• Review the skin's anatomy and physiology

• List all critical elements of the wound healing environment

• Describe the 4 phases of wound healing to include tissue types

• Describe all debridement forms and the biofilm life cycle

• Distinguish atypical wounds from the more common wounds
