The culmination of a weeklong residency at Magdalen College in Oxford with our newest (and fifteenth!) cohort of Genesis Sixteen singers sees an hour-long informal lunchtime recital, giving the singers an opportunity to showcase the music they have been working on together.The recital will take place in the Auditorium at Magdalen College in Oxford, and it is FREE to attend*.
The recital will include music written by composers such as Byrd, Parry, de Monte, Elgar, Weelkes, and Judith Bingham. The singers will also be performing in smaller one-per-part consorts. Please do come and support these brilliant young singers at the start of their Genesis Sixteen journey!
*The recital is free to attend, but if you'd like to spend more time walking around the beautiful surroundings of Magdalen College, please enter via the Porters Lodge (off the High Street) to purchase a visitors' ticket (joint tickets to include the Oxford Botanical Gardens are also on offer!). If you'd like to just attend the recital, feel free to enter via the Longwall Street arch directly to the Auditorium.
