About this Event

The debate over whether nature or nurture are more important in shaping our personalities and choices has been going on for centuries. As our understanding of biology and external impacts on children have increased, are we finally at a point where we can put this discussion in the rearview mirror? What do we know about the significance of genetics versus environment in determining who we become? We’ll discuss what makes us - us.

Panelists:

Arslan Zaidi, Assistant Professor, Genetics, Cell Biology and Development

Marlene Zuk, Professor, Ecology, Evolution and Behavior, College of Biological Sciences

Doors open at 5:45 p.m. Program starts at 6:15 p.m.
