If you're in high school and passionate about science or want to learn more about the university/ career possibilities in science, this conference showcases what's possible in STEM with workshops, panels, free food, challenges & more!

McMaster's Women in Science and Engineering Initiative (WISE) is hosting the GenerationSTEM 2023 conference for high school students. We are inclusive of all genders and populations.

Join us for STEM-related workshops, panels, research presentations, challenges, and tours. We want to give you an idea of all the amazing STEM-related topics you can learn about in university and highlight some of the inspiring scientists we have here at McMaster. It is also an amazing opportunity to learn about what's possible, and connect with inspiring individuals in the field! The details are below:

Once you've registered, you'll be provided with information about where to meet and what to bring with you. Lunch and snacks will be provided!

2:15pm-2:45pm: Workshop from Dr Bryan Lee, Department of Materials Science & Engineering and Experiential Learning Office (ELO)
2:50pm-3:50pm: Workshop from Fatima Nazir, Master of Engineering Design student
4pm-4:30pm: Workshop from EyeSee Initiative (student club at McMaster)
4:30pm-5pm: Optional Closing Remarks and Social/Networking Thank you!
