United Regional is proud to share our upcoming Generation United event on Sunday, April 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Bill Bartley YMCA, 5001 Bartley Drive at the Fain Sports Complex.This free community event brings high school seniors and the older adults who inspire them together to learn simple ways to stay active, prevent falls, and support the well‑being of aging loved ones. Teens will also hear practical guidance on how regular check‑ins can help keep seniors safe. Free health screenings — including blood pressure checks, fingerstick blood sugars, and a wellness screening blood panel — will be available.
Scholarships of $1,000, $750, and $500 will be awarded to high school seniors, and guests will have the chance to win door prizes such as gift cards and YMCA memberships.
