Generations: From Differences to Common Ground
Gen Z is entitled. Millennials need purpose. Boomers resist change. Or do they?
We all have ideas about how different generations think, work and communicate. But how much of what we believe is actually true — and how much is simply a stereotype?
On 20 October, The Network Luxembourg invites you to an interactive evening exploring generational diversity beyond the usual labels.
We will challenge some common assumptions, look at what the data from Luxembourg actually tells us, and explore a bigger question:
How can different generations complement each other and make us better together?
Expect a mix of research, real-life perspectives, audience interaction and honest conversation — with plenty of room to question what we think we know.
Meet our Speakers
Dr Adam Petersen
Professor of Management Practice at Luxembourg School of Business, with more than 20 years of international management experience. Adam recently conducted the Generational Attitudes Study, examining common assumptions about generations in the Luxembourg workplace. His research found that many of the stereotypes we hear about different generations are not supported by the data.
