Save the Date! Our last general meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, May 14th at 6:30pm in the Pfluger Cafeteria. This will be our Annual Meeting and Election for next year’s board.We currently have 2 open board positions for next year:
Parliamentarian: ensures that meetings are conducted according to parliamentary procedure, advises on proper meeting protocols, helps interpret bylaws, and ensures fairness and order during discussions and voting. They may also provide guidance on procedural matters and assist with maintaining accurate meeting records.
Vice President, Membership: oversees efforts to recruit and retain members, coordinates membership drives, maintains membership records, and fosters a sense of belonging within the PTA community. They may also collaborate with other board members to develop strategies for increasing membership and engaging with current members.
And 2 supporting coordinators needed:
Fall Festival Coordinator: plans, organizes, and executes all aspects of the fall festival event. This includes selecting a theme, securing vendors and attractions, coordinating volunteers, managing budgets, promoting the event to the community, and overseeing setup and cleanup. They ensure that the festival runs smoothly and provides an enjoyable experience for attendees while also raising funds for the PTA's initiatives.
Volunteer Coordinator: recruits, organizes and manages volunteers, is the main point of contact for teachers and administration for their volunteer needs, communicates volunteer opportunities to the community, and ensures that volunteers are properly thanked and recognized for their contributions. They play a crucial role in mobilizing resources and manpower to support the PTA's initiatives and events.
