A General Meeting has been called to discuss the Peninsula community's wishes in relation to the foreshore. Where should the balance be between conserving the quality of the foreshore reserves (natural environment and scenic and aesthetic appeal) and allowing public enjoyment and commercial use?
Representatives of QLDC will be attending the meeting to inform us about their current proposals for the new Foreshore Management Plan, in light of the feedback received and ahead of a workshop with Councillors on 8 September.
