Wednesday 1st OctoberWe would love to see you at our next general meeting.
Meeting commences at 7.30pm.
Our guest speaker will be our very own ABW Hike Leader and Walks Secretary, Simon Goodwin. Simon will be talking about the Snow Week adventure he recently led for our club, along with discussing technical abilities necessary for surviving the challenges of existing in negative temperatures in Australia’s highest places.
Simon holds many qualifications in outdoor expedition leadership, training and assessing, across multiple countries; as well as 40 years experience mountaineering, hiking, climbing and other outdoor activities. Aside from ABW, Simon holds senior education and assessing positions with our peak body organisation, Walking SA. We are in for a gripping night!
