Scuba diving is a fantastic, adventurous sport—but it also carries very real risks. In this presentation, Jack explores the importance of diver risk assessment through real-world examples of failure, including some of his own close calls.
Using these stories as case studies, Jack highlights the human factors and decision- making processes that often lead to accidents—and how divers can learn from them.
He will also share practical tools and resources every diver can use to enhance personal safety, reduce risk, and enjoy the underwater world with greater confidence.
Whether you’re a new diver or a seasoned explorer, this session will remind you that while things can go wrong, preparation and awareness can make all the difference.
