MPC meetings are open to people interested in maintaining the Mexican culture in Southwest Detroit through events that showcase the music, flavors and talents of our community; scholarships that support our youths educational goals; and economic growth for local businesses. Our accomplishments include:
● Annual Cinco de Mayo Parade to celebrate our traditions and stimulate commerce for local businesses
● The Annual Miss. Mexico Pageant & Scholarship program that highlights top achieving Latinas and awards scholarships
● Mexican Fiesta to unify the community and to showcase local cuisine, talent, and agencies
● Sponsorship of Mexican cultural events across the city with various organizations
