All around the world we see young people rising up against authoritarianism. How can their brave protests, often met with violent repression, be translated into lasting democratic reform? For this event, we partner with United World College Red Cross Nordic which has 200 students from over 80 countries. We will hear testimonies and learn more about protest movements from young voices from around the world.
Programme will be posted! The event will be in English.
Entry to the event is free, but registration is required. To view the exhibitions, you can purchase an entry ticket on arrival or via our website.
The event is part of the series Nobel Peace Talks, focusing on topics related to the latest Nobel Peace Prize. With the peace prize awarded to Maria Corina Machado as backdrop, we discuss developments in Venezuela, the global consequences, and the state of democracy in the world.
