Funky soul band Gemma & The Travellers give a nod to the early Deep Soul, R&B, Northern Soul and Funk of the 60s but their unique songwriting gives a refreshing twist. Inspired by the likes of Dusty Springfield, Julie Driscoll, Etta James and Aretha Franklin, Gemma has a powerful and immediately recognisable voice with personality. BRBC houseband Midnight Mary will open the concert and the evening closes with a Late Blues Jam from 23:30 hosted by Roman.
