Full moons happen when the Moon forms a 180-degree opposition from the Sun, reflecting the Sun's light for all to see. This opposition calls us to balance the way we assert our identities in the outer world and how we receive these experiences within —shining a spotlight of awareness on what needs to be released as we move into the waning phase.For December's full moon in Gemini, we're called to find balance along the axis of mind. The Sun in Sagittarius encourages expressions of faith and belief, the level of thinking that isn't necessarily rooted in logic. Whereas the moon in Gemini encourages us to back our beliefs with fact and details.
You’re invited to join this workshop at Forming Art Studios to find your lunar balance in the form of candle-making. Astrologer Misty Lane will provide an overview on the meaning of this lunation with mini astrology readings for each participant. Artist Laura Ingalsbe will then guide us through making intention candles to aid your process of release.
